Ductless head blowing warm air in July or flashing a code in January? Our mini-split repair in Arlington covers Mitsubishi and most other brands, from Old Town to Smokey Point. You see the price before any part leaves the truck.

Temperatures here have hit 103°F at the airport and a record low of 7°F. A ductless system here has to handle both ends of that range. These six repairs come up most.
Heat waves like June 2021 expose a dirty outdoor coil, a slow refrigerant leak or a fan motor on its way out.
Frost on the fatter line or the indoor coil in cooling mode means starved airflow or low charge. Switch to fan only, then call.
An oily film on a flare nut and fading output suggest a leak. We remake the flare, pressure test, then recharge to spec.
Sun, rain and the occasional rodent strip the foam off outdoor copper. Bare lines lose efficiency and can sweat or frost.
Usually a worn fan bearing, a loose panel or a wall bracket carrying vibration indoors. A defrost whoosh is normal; grinding is not.
Count the blinks or write down the code before resetting. That tells our tech where to start: a sensor, a board or the wiring.
Low ground near the Stillaguamish forks can flood. If water reached your outdoor unit, keep the system switched off at the breaker. Wet wiring is a shock and fire risk, so have a tech inspect it before any restart.
Whether it’s one wall head in a Kent Prairie bedroom or a multi-zone system up in Gleneagle, the pricing works the same way.
The visit that finds the fault costs $159. When we finish the fix that same day, that fee is waived.
You hear one set price for the repair and decide before any tools come out. No surprise line items afterward.
Bigger bill than you planned? Qualified buyers can pay it off through Wisetack over a full year with no interest.
One exception: if the fix needs a part sent under the manufacturer’s warranty, that means a return trip, and the $159 still applies.
Being a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor means hands-on Mitsubishi training, from MSZ wall heads to MXZ multi-zone outdoor units.
Mitsubishi, Midea or a brand the builder picked, we repair most ductless systems. Read us the label when you call.
Our habit is fixing what can be fixed. Replacement comes up only when a repair no longer makes sense for you.
Much of what goes wrong with a ductless system is fixable on the spot: drains, sensors, fan motors, control boards and leaking flare joints.
Replacement only comes up for real reasons: a failed compressor on an older system past its warranty, a leak that returns after a proper repair, or a standard unit that was never sized for the coldest nights here. On a newer Arlington build, a manufacturer's parts warranty may still cover the part, and we check before quoting.
Keep brush and blackberry trimmed two feet back from the outdoor unit. In summer, wash the head's filters every few weeks, and a yearly professional cleaning catches the rest.

Cold-climate models such as Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat hold full rated capacity down to 5°F, colder than Arlington’s record low of 7°F. Standard models fade sooner. If yours struggles, we check charge, sensors and filters before blaming sizing.
That’s defrost. In damp weather near freezing the outdoor coil frosts over, so the system briefly reverses to melt it. A Mitsubishi owner’s manual puts the maximum at 10 minutes. Much longer, or no heat afterward, means call us.
Possibly. Standard Mitsubishi coverage is five years for parts, seven for the compressor. If a Diamond Contractor installed it and it was registered inside 90 days, both can run 12 years. See how the program works.
Once is fine, after you note the code or blink count. If the same fault returns, the unit is telling you something real, and repeated resets won’t fix a failing sensor or board.
Yes. Arlington Heights, acreage off Jordan Road and homes in the valley near Island Crossing are all part of our service area. Mention a gate code or long driveway when you call.
